What is a LitBuy link?

A LitBuy link is a product link that opens an item inside the LitBuy shopping agent. On that page you see the item's options and price, pick your size and colour and add it to your LitBuy cart. LitBuy then buys it from the Chinese seller on your behalf.

People share LitBuy links in spreadsheets, on Reddit and on Discord because they save a step: instead of finding the item on Taobao, copying the URL and pasting it into the agent, you just click. When someone says "drop the LitBuy link", they mean "send me the link that opens this product in LitBuy".

How to make a LitBuy link

1. Open the product on Taobao, Weidian, 1688 or Xianyu and copy its URL. In the mobile apps this is usually Share › Copy link.
2. Go to the LitBuy website or app and paste the URL into the search bar at the top of the page (the box that says "Paste Product Name / Link").
3. Press search. LitBuy loads the product page with its options and price — that page is your LitBuy link.
4. Copy the address from your browser if you want to save or share it.

LitBuy also offers a browser extension, listed on its homepage, that can open marketplace pages directly in the agent. That is handy if you browse Taobao a lot.

How to order with a LitBuy link — 7 steps

1. Create a LitBuy account

Sign up with your email, then set your delivery country and preferred currency so prices and shipping estimates are shown correctly.

2. Copy the product URL

Use the LitBuy spreadsheet or your own search to find a product, and copy its marketplace URL.

3. Paste it to make a LitBuy link

Paste the URL into LitBuy. Check that the photos and title match the item you expect.

4. Choose options and pay

Select colour and size, set the quantity and add the item to your cart. At checkout you pay for the item and usually the domestic delivery to the warehouse. International shipping is paid later.

5. Wait for warehouse arrival

Sellers typically ship within 1–3 days and domestic delivery takes 1–3 more. The order status changes when the item reaches the warehouse.

6. Check QC photos

The warehouse photographs your item. Compare the photos with our QC checklist below, then approve it or request an exchange.

7. Submit your parcel

Select the items to ship together, choose packing options, pick a shipping line and pay. You will get a tracking number when the parcel leaves China.

What does a LitBuy order cost?

Worked example: a hooded parka (about US$46), a cable-knit sweater (US$24) and a beanie (US$9) total about US$79 in items. The parcel weighs around 2.5 kg, but a parka is bulky, so vacuum packing is what keeps the volumetric weight — and the shipping fee — under control. How to read QC photos

• Right item: colour, style number, size label and option match your order.
• Construction: straight stitching, no loose threads, no glue marks, no holes.
• Details: prints, embroidery and patches are sharp and in the right place.
• Symmetry: for shoes, both sides look the same from the side and from behind.
• Function: for electronics, ask for a short video showing it working.

Choosing a shipping line

Economy lines are cheaper and slower; express lines are faster and cost more. Some lines are better for particular countries. Items with batteries, such as wireless earbuds, can only travel on lines that accept them, and that limit applies to the whole parcel.

Ways to pay less for shipping

• Remove shoe boxes you do not need.
• Vacuum-pack hoodies, sweaters and jackets.
• Ship everything in one parcel instead of several small ones.
• Use the storage period to wait until all your items have arrived.
